In Friday's league match, the host Edison Eagles basketball team scored a good 59-51 triumph over the Hayfield Hawks.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 21. Edison will attempt to better on its 19-2 season record. The Stallions enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 51-31 league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
With the defeat, Hayfield moves to 12-8 on the year.
