The Pope Greyhounds crushed the host Lassiter Trojans baseball team by a count of 6-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Greyhounds now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kennesaw Mountain for a bout on Tuesday, February 22. Pope will face a Mustangs team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
Next, the Trojans face the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 22. Lassiter will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Lassiter (Marietta, GA).
