In Saturday's non-league game, the host Phil Campbell Bobcats baseball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Tharptown Wildcats.
The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Lawrence County (Moulton, AL). The Red Devils go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Lawrence County was overwhelmed by Austin (Decatur, AL), 11-9, in a non-league game.
