Kansas High School Basketball - Pleasant Ridge ripped by Atchison County

The Atchison County Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Pleasant Ridge Rams to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson County North for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Atchison County will meet a Chargers team coming off a 52-51 league loss to Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 13-8.

The Rams (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS). The Dragons enter the Northeast Kansas contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Valley Falls triumphed over Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS), 52-51, in a league contest.
