The Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN), 78-68 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blackjacks (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles go into the A Section 3 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Lac qui Parle Valley went down by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN), 62-40, in a non-league test.
The Thunderhawks now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Sauk Centre for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21. Montevideo will encounter a Mainstreeters squad coming off a 67-61 non-league win over Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 14-7.
