The Saugatuck Trailblazers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Fennville Blackhawks to 40 in the Trailblazers league triumph on Saturday.
The Trailblazers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Black River for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. Saugatuck will meet a Rats team coming off a 75-59 non-league loss to Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI). The Rats record now stands at 7-12.
The Blackhawks (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Schoolcraft nudged Parchment (Parchment, MI), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
