Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT), 67-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Portland upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season.

Next up, the Noises clash with the Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. Hale Ray will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 59-44 non-league loss to Griswold (Griswold, CT).
