The Shishmaref Northern Lights (Shishmaref, AK) basketball knocked off the host James C Isabell Aklaqs (Teller, AK), 69-53 in Saturday's league test.
The Northern Lights (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Gambell (Gambell, AK). The King Polar Bear go into the 1A Bering Sea test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Gambell went down by Shishmaref (Shishmaref, AK), 68-50, in a non-league test.
The Aklaqs now own a 3-5 record.
