Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam can't hold off Kennedy

The Santiam Wolverines basketball team (Mill City, OR), was nudged 55-53 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR)
The Trojans now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 24. Kennedy will battle a Royals team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Knappa (Astoria, OR). The Royals record now stands at 13-10.
The Wolverines (20-6) will now prepare for their battle against Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 22-5 record. In their last battle, Gold Beach was tipped by Oakland (Oakland, OR), 62-59, in a league outing.
