Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA), 74-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Telfair County upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Jenkins County (Millen, GA) to play the War Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 21-6. Jenkins County lost 61-50 in their recent league bout against Portal (Portal, GA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Treutlen will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 26-1 record after their 61-50 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA).
