The Albert Lea Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Faribault Falcons to 48 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mankato East for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Albert Lea will battle a Cougars team coming off a 66-47 league win over Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 15-7.
The Falcons (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Century (Rochester, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Century was defeated by Mayo (Rochester, MN), 65-49, in a league contest.
