In Saturday's non-league match, the host Southeastern Panthers basketball team scored a tight 53-52 triumph over the Eastern Warriors.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 22. Southeastern will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Buckeyes enter the match with a 18-5 record after their 37-31 non-league win over Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH).
With the defeat, Eastern moves to 14-5 on the year.
