The Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial Huskies basketball team (Savoonga, AK), was routed 70-34 in Saturday's league battle with the host Martin L Olson Lynx (Golovin, AK)
The Lynx now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gambell for a 1A Bering Sea battle on Saturday, February 18.
The Huskies (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Shishmaref (Shishmaref, AK). The Northern Lights come into the 1A Bering Sea battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Shishmaref trounced Alak (Wainwright, AK), 75-48, in a non-league battle.
