The River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI) basketball nipped the host Michigan Lutheran Titans (St. Joseph, MI), 24-20 in Saturday's league test.
The Mustangs (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI). The Shamrocks go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Berrien Springs was tipped by Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI), 35-30, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a non-league test on Monday, February 20. Michigan Lutheran will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 36-30 non-league win over Centreville (Centreville, MI). The Indians record now stands at 13-6.
