Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the host Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), 3-2 in a league match.

The Broncos (8-11) will now prepare for their match against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders enter the State Championship Division match with a 13-7 record. In their last match, Prout was nipped by Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 3-2, in a league match.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a State Championship Division match, on Friday, February 24. Barrington will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Mounties enter the match with a 9-14 record after their 7-0 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
