Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Pilgrim can't get by La Salle Academy

In Saturday's league test, the host La Salle Academy Rams ice hockey team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Pilgrim Patriots.
The Rams (15-5) will now prepare for their test against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, New Canaan Xavier (Middletown, CT), 2-2, in a non-league test.
Next up, the Patriots encounter the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a State Championship Division test, on Monday, February 20. Pilgrim will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Quakers enter the test with a 5-13 record after their 9-1 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
