Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) and the visiting Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Bowie's softball squad tip Johnson by a count of 10-4.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson for a 6A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, February 21. Bowie will face a Trojans squad coming off a 19-5 non-league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Johnson moves to 3-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, February 18. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 1-3. Hendrickson lost 26-3 in their recent non-league match against Leander (Leander, TX)
