Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Matadors now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bandera for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Seguin will battle a BULLDOGS squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The BULLDOGS record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Charlotte falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Randolph (Universal City, TX) to battle the Ro-Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Ro-Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Randolph lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against IDEA South Flores (San Antonio, TX)
