Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Joya for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. Laredo LBJ will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Del Rio falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
