Michigan High School Basketball - Cass Tech edges Renaissance

The Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI), 72-70 in Sunday's league test.
The Technicians (21-1) will now prepare for their test against Richard (Riverview, MI). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Richard got by Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI), 54-48, in a non-league test.
The Phoenix now own a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. Renaissance will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 17-7.
