The Hahnville Tigers nipped the visiting Dutchtown Griffins baseball squad by a score of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Ruston nudged Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 10-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Griffins play the Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 21. Dutchtown will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Northshore (Slidell, LA).
