In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL) baseball squad the host Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL), by a tally of 12-9.
Next up, the Rebels encounter the Slocomb Red Tops (Slocomb, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 21. Long will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Red Tops enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL).
The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Providence Christian (Dothan, AL). The Eagles enter the 3A Area 2 bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Providence Christian edged Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
