Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), 62-31 in a league match.

With the victory, Alcona upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI) to face the Cardinals in a North Star match on Thursday, February 20. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 1-19.

The Braves now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beaverton for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. Tawas Area will face a Beavers squad coming off a 68-51 league win over Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 10-10.
