Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Castor Tigers (Castor, LA), 44-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cedar Creek advances its record to 16-10 on the year.
The Tigers now own a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Natchitoches Central for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Castor will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 77-35 non-league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 25-8.
