In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Nelson basketball team scored a big 88-61 triumph over the Gresham Gophers.

The (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Rams go into the 6A Mt. Hood contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Central Catholic smashed Barlow (Gresham, OR), 68-60, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Gophers battle the Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood contest, on Wednesday, February 19. Gresham will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record.
