The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) and the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), observed Griswold's basketball team overwhelm Plainfield by a score of 74-51.
The Wolverines (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats come into the Eastern Connecticut I challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Norwich Free Academy was routed by St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT), 83-68, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 19. Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
