The Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) basketball crushed the host Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), 71-23 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Lake Forest for a Henlopen - Southern bout on Wednesday, February 19. Laurel will play a Spartans team coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE). The Spartans record now stands at 13-7.
With the loss, Indian River falls to 2-19 on the campaign.
