The Pelican Rapids Vikings basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Park Rapids Panthers to 66 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Barnesville for a AA Section 8 game on Friday, February 21. Pelican Rapids will play a Trojans team coming off a 77-66 non-league win over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Park Rapids falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Menahga (Menahga, MN) to play the Braves in a AA Section 8 game on Thursday, February 20. The Braves go into the game with a record of 1-22. Menahga lost 69-55 in their recent non-league game against Verndale (Verndale, MN)
