The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) basketball edged the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 61-56 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Elks/Elkettes now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Pojoaque Valley will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Moriarty falls to 6-7 on the campaign.
