Minnesota High School Basketball - Northfield can't hold off Austin

Austin Packers (Austin, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN), 63-61 in a league match.

With the victory, Austin upgrades its record to 21-6 on the year. The Packers travel to Winona (Winona, MN) to face the Winhawks in a AAA Section 1 match on Thursday, February 20. The Winhawks enter the match with a record of 0-25. Winona lost 73-38 in their recent league match against Red Wing (Red Wing, MN)

The Raiders now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owatonna for a AAAA Section 1 match on Friday, February 21. Northfield will face a Huskies squad coming off a 67-15 league win over Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 20-5.
