In Tuesday's league test, the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 77-56.
Next, the Jaguars encounter the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 test, on Thursday, February 20. Capital will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a 11-14 record after their 82-24 league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
The Monarchs (10-14) will now prepare for their test against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears come into the 5A District 2 test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, La Cueva bounced Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 54-35, in a league test.
