In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mt. Abraham Eagles basketball team scored a big 51-28 win over the Colchester Lakers.
The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Tigers come into the Lake contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Middlebury was trounced by Rutland (Rutland, VT), 29-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT) in a Lake contest, on Thursday, February 20. Colchester will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 12-6 record after their 47-23 league win over Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT).
