New Mexico High School Basketball - Des Moines knocks off Springer

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the visiting Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM), saw Des Moines's basketball team beat Springer by a tally of 60-48.
The Demons now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they host Maxwell for a A District 5 bout on Thursday, February 20. Des Moines will play a Bears team coming off a 51-36 league loss to Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Bears record now stands at 8-16.
With the loss, Springer falls to 16-8 on the campaign. The Red devils host Logan (Logan, NM) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 22. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 14-11. Logan won 67-30 in their recent league bout against Grady (Grady, NM)
