The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) and the host Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA), observed James Wood's basketball team overcome Fauquier by a score of 40-30.

The Colonels (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Handley (Winchester, VA). The Judges come into the non-league challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Handley defeated Liberty (Bealeton, VA), 73-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 21. Fauquier will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 20-0 record after their 102-26 league win over King George (King George, VA).
