The Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Heston Academy Patriots to 12 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now have a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Alcona for a North Star - Big Dipper game on Wednesday, February 19. Whittemore-Prescott will confront a Tigers team coming off a 48-25 non-league loss to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Heston Academy falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Patriots host Oscoda (Oscoda, MI) to confront the Owls in a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. The Owls go into the game with a record of 17-1.
