The Waconia Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Jefferson Jaguars to 54 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Orono for a AAA Section 6 game on Friday, February 21. Waconia will play a Spartans team coming off a 80-65 league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 22-3.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 7-17 on the campaign. The Jaguars host New Prague (New Prague, MN) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 17-8. New Prague lost 72-57 in their recent non-league game against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)
