In Tuesday's league contest, the host Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds basketball team scored a close 31-29 triumph over the Maranatha Baptist Crusaders.
The Firebirds (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Top Christian (Horicon, WI). The go into the Indian Trails contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Mountain Top Christian nipped Rock County Christian (Beloit, WI), 43-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Oakhill Christian Royals (Janesville, WI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Maranatha Baptist will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record.
