Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia Episcopal School thwarts New Covenant

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), observed Virginia Episcopal School's basketball team knock off New Covenant by a score of 36-18.

The Bishops (13-10) will now prepare for their challenge against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 18-7 record. In their last challenge, The Covenant dropped by Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 55-46, in a non-league challenge.
