The North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) basketball crushed the visiting North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 74-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 24-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. North Wilkes will play a Cardinals team coming off a 54-45 league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 21-5.
With the loss, North Surry falls to 16-9 on the campaign.
