In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders basketball team scored a good 58-49 triumph over the Pierz Pioneers.
The Crusaders (11-33) will now prepare for their contest against Mora (Mora, MN). The Mustangs go into the AA Section 6 contest with a 6-19 record.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Albany Huskies (Albany, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Pierz will attempt to better on its 7-20 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 12-15 record after their 72-53 league loss to Milaca (Milaca, MN).
