In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Valley View Blazers basketball team scored a close 46-40 triumph over the Searcy Lions.
The Blazers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Golden Eagles go into the 5A East contest with a 25-2 record. In their last contest, Greene County Tech nipped West Memphis (West Memphis, AR), 49-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR) in a 5A East contest, on Friday, February 21. Searcy will attempt to better on its 9-17 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 0-18 record after their 57-35 league loss to Marion (Marion, AR).
