New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Michael's can't get by Robertson

Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM), 38-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Robertson advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Braves enter the match with a record of 10-2. Santa Fe Indian won 48-28 in their recent non-league match against Walatowa Charter (Jemez Pueblo, NM)

The Horsemen now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bernalillo for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. St. Michael's will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 49-36 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 3-7.
