St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders (Fort Lauderdale, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Stoneman Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL), 15-7 in a non-league game.
With the victory, St. Thomas Aquinas advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Bartram Trail (St. Johns, FL) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Bears come into the game with a record of 3-0. Bartram Trail won 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Beachside (St. Johns, FL)
The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop McCarthy for a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. Stoneman Douglas will play a Mavericks team coming off a 17-2 non-league win over South Plantation (Plantation, FL). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-0.
