The Cumberland Clippers ice hockey team scored 3 points and held the visiting South Kingstown Rebels to 0 in the Clippers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Clippers now hold a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coventry for a Division 2 bout on Wednesday, February 19. Cumberland will play a Oakers team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 2-13.

With the defeat, South Kingstown moves to 3-16 on the campaign. The Rebels host East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to battle the Avengers in a Division 2 challenge on Saturday, February 22. The Avengers come into the challenge with a record of 17-2. East Greenwich won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)
