The Croatan Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Richlands Wildcats to 30 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they host West Carteret for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Croatan will confront a Patriots team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Croatan (Newport, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Richlands falls to 0-19 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-11. Dixon won 54-36 in their recent non-league game against Richlands (Richlands, NC)
