With the triumph, Burges moves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Canutillo (Canutillo, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 5A Region 1 District 1 test on Friday, February 21. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-12. Canutillo lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Andress (El Paso, TX)

The Silver Foxes now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapin for a 5A Region 1 District 1 test on Friday, February 21. Jefferson will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Burges (El Paso, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 3-9.
