Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX), saw Davenport's soccer squad hold off Fredericksburg by a count of 2-1.

The Wolves (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX). The enter the 4A Region 4 District 26 battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Canyon Lake was edged by Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Billies battle the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) in a 4A Region 4 District 26 battle, on Friday, February 21. Fredericksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Texans enter the battle with a 5-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bandera (Bandera, TX).
