The Russell County Warriors overwhelmed the visiting Loachapoka Indians softball squad by a count of 19-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors meet the Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Goshen (Goshen, AL).
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wadley (Wadley, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Area 7 challenge with a 0-0 record.
