Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), 14-10 in a non-league game.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Generals go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Heritage nudged Dade County (Trenton, GA), 18-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Indians play the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 19. Armuchee will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA).
