The Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) softball routed the host Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX), 24-9 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Troopers go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Eastwood toppled San Elizario (San Elizario, TX), 16-0, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Parkland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 1.
